Zombies by the Sea – Excerpt 22

  ‘Now, Maude where do I start? Why are you and your ladies determined to cause trouble over our planned Zombie Weekend, what harm is it doing to you? Enquired the Mayor. ‘Well for starters, it will lower the tone of our town, we are for the most part a respectable community,’ answered Maude giving her views on the subject.

‘It is meant to be a harmless bit of fun,’ Stated the Mayor, ‘ I didn’t think you were a prude?’ ‘I’m not!’ answered Maude, ‘I can be quite outgoing, given the right circumstances.’ ‘Let’s not argue, have another brandy, and let’s discuss this like adults.’ insisted the Mayor.

Maude, who let it be said, was not much of a drinker, was now halfway down her second double brandy and was beginning to feel quite amorous towards the Mayor. The Mayor on his side wanted to seduce her and get it over with, but where and how could he start without her screaming the house down. He could be mistaken, but he thought that there was every chance that she might still be a virgin. In which case things could turn really messy.

After considering all the options, he topped up her glass once more, her eyes seemed to be having difficulty focusing and her speech was starting to slur, maybe now was the time to strike. he put his arms around her and was just about to attempt to steal a kiss, when she grasped his head in both of her hands kissing him passionately on the lips, forcing her tongue between his lips.
